Abraham emphasized the necessity of touch and communication in the medical field. He told the story of a woman who had breast cancer that suffered horribly because the doctor never touched the site and only used tests. This is a prime example of why touch is key, and it really is. You can communicate and have the patient or whoever you're helping, you can see if the injury is internal or external too. I liked how he explained how important communication is and I'm looking forward to applying it in class.

I'm looking forward to all the labs and hands on labs that we will be doing this semester. It's exciting that we get the opportunity to actually be in person. Wrapping ankles and learning CPR have been fun and I can't wait to see what's next.
